With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Philip S. Slobe (Oswego, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Slobe and Agnes Slobe (Zayown); his wife Joan Slobe; and his brothers, Donald Slobe, Richard Slobe and David Sloan.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa Reedy (William) of Cicero, Jeff Slobe (Trudy) of Oswego and Brian Slobe (Juanita) of Buffalo; his sisters, Florence Meakin of Oneida and Alicia Chick of Oswego; and his grandchildren, Jack Slobe, Bryan Slobe, Brianna Reedy and Will Reedy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dowdle Funeral Home (154 E 4th St, Oswego, NY 13126). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (379 E River Rd, Oswego, NY 13126).
