He is survived by: his children, Cassie Yatsko-Shurr (Trista) of Pittsburgh, PA, Steven Shurr (Patty Arnold) of Oswego and Marcia Duncan of Fulton; his brother Dan Duncan (Kathy) of Fulton; his niece Adele Ware (Kris) of Scriba; his grandchildren, Kendal Shurr, Karlee Shurr and Parker Yatsko-Shurr; and his great-nephews, Duncan and Cooper Ware.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fulton Elks Club (57 Pierce Dr, Fulton, NY 13069).
