He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Syrell and Gladys Laird Syrell; his brothers, Rob Syrell, Bill Syrell, Jerry Syrell and Jim Syrell; his daughter Kerri Cervantes; his sister-in-law Mary Ann Syrell; and his stepsons, Steven Leonard and Mark Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Wolever; his sons, Scott Syrell of Mexico and Jeff Syrell of Ocala; his stepdaughters, Lisa Driver of Mexico, NY and Peggy Witham of Graham; and his grandchildren, Sarah Syrell, Josiah Syrell, Travis Dlugosz, Tyler Dlugosz and Mercedes Cervantes. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
