She is survived by: her parents, Erwin Hopkins and Florence Wallace Hopkins; her children, Jerry Helmer, Linda Johnson, Paul Helmer (Mona), Donald Helmer (Debbie), Clifford Helmer (Patti), Lori Fredenburg, Paula Walker and Geraldine "Mel" Helmer; and her friend Laura Turner.
