He is survived by: his children, Melissa Knopp, Zasette Blalock (Wayne), Angel Gallagher (Jeffery), Holly Burnswick, Jeffrey Burnswick (Lisa) and Thompson Burnswick Jr.; and his brothers, Bobby and Jimmy Burnswick. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
