Richard Sperry Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Sperry of Otego, New York, who passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Sperry and Ethel Sperry (Lewis); his son Richard Sperry; and his brothers, Russell Sperry, Douglas Sperry and Jimmy Berger.
He is survived by: his wife Melonie Sperry (Porteus); his children, Cindy, Chuck Lohmeyer, Mark Sperry and Bobbi-Jo Sperry; his grandchildren, Christina, Victoria, Brandon, Chase, Adrianna, Grace, Marcus, Marissa and Marina; his great grandchildren, Eden and Kayson; his stepchildren, Matthew, Meghan Hartwell, Travis, Tracy Hartwell, Caeleigh and Tim Chatman; his stepgrandsons, Isaac, Steven, Liam, Owen, Timothy and Nicholas; and his siblings, Tom, Pam Berger and Virginia Castle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
