He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gardiner and Betty Mae Gardiner (Peckham); and his siblings, Robert Gardiner and Jeannie Padgett. He is survived by: his wife Mary Eddy; his children, Andrew Gardiner (Mary) of Maine, NY, Gary Gardiner (Claudia) of Chicago, IL. and Jenny Nye (Shawn) of Florida; his brother George Gardiner (Pam) of Traverse City, MI; his stepsister Nancy; his grandchildren, Amanda, Meaghan, Amy, Aaron, Jianna, Kathleen, Adam and Brandon; and his great grandchildren, Lily, Charlotte, Claire, Kiera, Connor, Evelyn, Sarah, Emma and Easton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
