He was predeceased by : his parents, Clark Clendening and Maxine Clendening (Carroll); his siblings, David Clendening and Sharon Bars; and his pets, Drooper and Ralphie.

He is survived by : his children, Jenn Musall (Jim) of Cattaraugus and Jim Clendening (Sara) of Cattaraugus; his brother-in-law Jack Bars of Lockport; his grandchildren, Richele Nichols (Richard), Tyler Musall (Cheyanne Folks), Trae Musall, Janae Clendening, Christopher Gailey, Justin Gailey, Jaelyn Clendening, Jaden Gailey and Carissa Gailey; and his great grandchildren, Zoey Nichols and Landon Gailey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
