It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty J. Baker of Ovid, New York, born in Seneca Falls, New York, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Terry and Beatrice Terry Greenwalt; her spouse Edson W. Baker of Romulus; her step-father Richard Greenwalt; her children, Eddie and Brenda; her siblings, Sandy, David and William; and her close friend Michelle Langley.

She is survived by : her daughters, Terry Moore (Wendell) of Ovid, NY and Connie Lucas (John) of Aberdeen, MD; her grandchildren, Tammy Sloughter (Eric), Ninja DeParde, Steven Lucas (Jamee) and Eric Lucas; her son-in-law Brian Niver; her great grandchildren, Mathew Moore, Ryleigh Sloughter, Calla Schmeer, Auden Schmeer, Allison Morter, Daniel Lucas, Catilin Lucas, Kaedan Lucas and Mia Lucas; and her siblings, James Terry (Pat) of Oklahoma and Beatrice Marrone (Joe) of Ovid, NY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Covert Funeral Home (7199 Main St, Ovid, NY 14521).
