Frances T. Morton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances T. Morton of Ovid, New York, born in Shrub Oak, New York, who passed away on June 10, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, William Hildenbrand and Edna Hildenbrand (Tice); her sons, James A. Morton Jr. and William A Morton; her husband James A Morton Sr.; and her siblings, John A., Marion Hildenbrand and Helen Dibble.
She is survived by : her children, Marilyn Forbes (Richard) of Delanson, NY, Sandra Denmark (George) of Interlaken, Pamela Mount (Douglas) of Ovid, Marvin Morton (Lori) of Ovid and Jennifer Granger (Donald) of Ovid; and her sisters, Doris "Dubby" Degoski of Cape Coral, FL and Lois "Tilly" Bloomer of Hermon, ME.. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren.
She was proud to be a member of the Town of Middlefield Historical Association and most enjoyed contributing to their Veteran memorial fund.
