He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Wintermute Sr. and Pauline (Ball); his wife Shirley Wintermute; his children, Jason Wintermute and Kelli Wintermute; his grandson Andrew Wintermute; his brother Calvin; and his sister-in-law Carol Wintermute.
He is survived by: his friend Rick; his children, Rob Wintermute, Karla Carpenter (Jim), Jodi Polley (Scott Allen) and Tammi Pierce (Michael); and his siblings, Judy Carter (Robert), Marlene Wintermute (Reggie), Pauline Krawczyk (Paul), Dale Wintermute (Wayne), Roberta Ricciardi (Alex), Janie Johnson (Larry) and Mike Wintermute. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
