He is survived by: his granddaughter Evelyn Sherman Bower; his wife Kathryn Bower; his siblings, Richard Bower (Ethel Robert Bower), Eloise Hilfiger, Jeanette Beltz and Marcille Giles; and also, Clarks Summit and Auburn.
