She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Middaugh and Mary Middaugh (Byrd); her siblings, Richard Middaugh and Gladys Middaugh; and her brother-in-law Mark Smullen.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Lawson; her son Eric Shaff (Jill Fisher); and her sisters, Gisela Shaff (Kelly Ballard), Kathy (Bill Strong), Jeanne (Byron Worden), Linda Smullen, Virginia (Gary Murray) and Pat (Grant Morse). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
