She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Paul Thayer; her children, Lisa Thayer and Eugene; her daughter-in-law Linda Crawford; her sisters, Helen King and Clara Crosby; her grandchildren, Chad, Jody Crawford, Cassie and Gerard Gill II; her great grandchildren, Kyle Crawford and Gerard Gill III; her sister Virginia; her brother-in-law Kenneth Crosby; and her parents, Paul Baker and Gladys Baker (Jones). She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews.
