He was predeceased by: his father Robert Horton; and his brother John Horton. He is survived by: his stepson Cory Coyne (Lori); his granddaughters, Juliet and Chloe Coyne; his sister-in-law Linda Horton; his nieces, Carrie Remillard (Steven), Holly Horton (Larry) and Heather McNett; his nephew John, Jr. Horton (Katie); his sister Carla Mader; and his former wife Tari Coyne Horton.
