She was predeceased by: her significant other Bob Dizer; her granddaughter Angelina Dizer; her great grandchild Olivia Hill; and her parents, Madeline Wordin and Edson Wordin.
She is survived by: her sister Arlene; her brother-in-law Tom Stivers; her brother John Wordin; and her children, Mike (Chris Dizer), Bob (Heidi Dizer), Cathy Pollard, Tom Dizer (Debbie Dodge), Sue (Mike Kotsubka), Mary (Chuck Hill), Patty Adams, Russ Dizer (Alex Bailey), Tim (Holly Dizer), Bill (Dina Dizer) and Pete Dizer. She is also survived by her 26 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Joan Dizer's memory to the Tioga County Rural Ministry, 143 North Avenue, Owego, NY 13827.
