He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Hatlee and Alta Hatlee (Ostrander); and his brothers, Roland, Joseph and Merwin "Pete".

He is survived by : his wife Maureen Hatlee; his children, Michael (Julie Hatlee), Michelle (David DeHaan), Matthew Hatlee and Kenneth Hatlee, II; his grandchildren, Brendan (Courtney), Ian (Alexis), Michaela, Tyler, Noah, Hunter and Trevor; his great grandchildren, Madeline and Harlow; his sister Elizabeth; and his brother-in-law Lester Colvin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
