Mary P. Treis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary P. Treis of Owego, New York, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John N. Treis and Monica G. Whalen Treis; and her sister Monica G. Sharp. She is survived by: her nephew David J. Sharp (Lisa); and her great-nephew Willam Sharp of Apalachin.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (111 3rd Ave, Gloversville, NY 12078).
