He was predeceased by: his parents, August Mangels and Mae Mangels (Gilbert); and his sister Virginia. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary J. Mangels and Charles Mangels; his niece Carrie Bossman (Shane); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sienna, Noah and Avery Bossman; his close friend Jerry Beach; and his son Marty.
