John Nelson Obituary

John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his children, Jill (Ted Nelson) of Thornton, CO, Jack Nelson (Suzy) of Medford, MA, Jeff Nelson of Oxford, Jolinda Westerberg (Rick) of Lubbock, TX and Jay Nelson of Oxford; his grandson Tyler Nelson (Nikki) of Thornton, CO; his children, Viki Nelson of Longmont, CO, Paul Nelson (Brooke) of Madison, TN, Erin Nelson of Medford, MA, Greg Nelson (Ashley) of Milton, MA, Jackie Nelson (Francesca) of Venice, Italy, Missy Chrystie (Mike) of Norwich, NY, Jessy Fish (Mark) of Greene, NY, Jeremy Nelson (Tara) of Owego, NY, Jenna Hunter (Chad) of Greene, NY, Trevor Nelson (Tiffany) of Oxford, NY, Allie Moore (Matt) of Earlville, NY and Joseph Nelson of Oxford, NY; and his great grandchildren, Cooper, Carter, Maggie, Johnsy, Dean, Willa, Aurelia, Malaya, Mallari, Roger, Tristan, Emmet and Grayson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (3 Scott St, Oxford, NY 13830). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
