He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Brown and Edna Brown (Call); his granddaughter Donna Adams-Stevenson; and his siblings, Virginia and Francis.

He is survived by : his wife Susanne Mosch; his sister Patricia Drake; and his children, Brenda Zegilla (Mark) of Smyrna, SC, Linda Adams (Brian) of Lecanto, FL, Michael Brown of Galeton, PA and Daniel Brown (Terra) of Waxhaw, NC. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
