She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Maracle and Mabel Maracle (Buchinger); and her siblings, Lyle Maracle, Thelma Whipple and Robin Schafner.

She is survived by: her husband Samuel; her children, Tiffani Gottschall (Jonathan) and Anthony Prestofilipo; her granddaughters, Abigail and Annabel Gottschall; and her siblings, Robert Maracle and Connie Johnston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
