He is survived by: his wife Sharon Tucker-Kitson; his sons, Charles Jr. Kitson (Judy) of Springfield and Carey Kitson (Melissa) of Jacksonville, Illinois; his stepson Jason Ward (Joy); his grandchildren, Zachary Kitson (Stephanie), Nathan Kitson (Libby), Brenton Kitson (Abbie), Drew Kitson (Mickey), Bradley Ward (Mollie Totman), Jessica Giles (Brady), Megan King (Tim) and Allison Schmitt (Noah); his great grandchildren, Charlie, Arlo, Faela, Whysper, Harland and Emmaline; and his sisters, Marie Coonen, Nancy Brogdon and Betty Flenniken. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
