He is survived by: his wife Wanda Harris; his son David Harris (Pat); his grandchildren, Taylor, Morgan, Bailey and Caitlyn; and his siblings, Kenneth, Russel, Lula Belle and Johnny. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Gary may be directed to a charity of choice.
