She was predeceased by: her husband John Leigh Williams; her son-in-law Josh Saunders; her brother-in-law John Erickson; and her parents, Herbert Featherstone and Ester Featherstone (Kringle).
She is survived by: her children, Andrea Robertson (Euan), Jessica Saunders and Scott Williams (Krystle); her grandchildren, Clara, Callum, Vivian, Hunter, Emmett, Garrett and Ethan; and her siblings, Bruce Featherstone (Judy), Beverly Erickson and Joyce Huml (Don). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to WXXI Public Broadcasting Council public radio, a station Janis loved and listened to every day.
