He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra; and his parents, Arthur Schaefer and Pauline Schaefer. He is survived by: his children, Jay Schaefer (Lisa) and Jill Miles (Tim); his grandsons, Andrew Schaefer (Emalie), Chad Schaefer (Alex Marie) and Zackary Miles; his great grandchildren, Addelyn, Aden, Charles, Marlayna and James; and his siblings, Ronald Schaefer (June), Norman Schaefer (Carol) and Linda Stebbins.
