He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert E. DeVlieger, and Esther Malanky DeVlieger, Sr.; his daughter Brandy DeVlieger; his granddaughter Toya Baker; and his siblings, Carl Stevens and Pam DeVlieger.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Austin DeVlieger; his children, Shyanne Newberry (Paul), Sonya Bingham (Roger), Nicole DeVlieger, Jeffrey Peate (Kayla), Levi DeVlieger (Amber), Chad DeVlieger (Heather) and Travis DeVlieger (Tonja); his siblings, Carolyn Smith (Ronald), Bert DeVlieger, Jr. and Charlotte Greenawalt (Jim); his close friends, Joe Siperek, Lonny, Jane Stebbins, Chris Fitzpatrick, Bud and Debbie Pike; and his caring neighbors, Mark and Sharon Davenport. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
