It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Balanovich of Parksville, New York, who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gumbel and Esther Singer; her husband Leon J. Balanovich Sr.; and her son Leon J. Balanovich Jr.. She is survived by: her children, David Balanovich, Denise Labonte, Laura Dobell and Lynn Bivins. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery (171-181 Sunset Lake Rd, Liberty, NY 12754).
