He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Herlihy and Kathyrn Herlihy; his sisters, Pat Treschl (Ed) and Eileen Clark; and his in-laws, Jennie, John Olsen, Lena and Aaron Whitlock.
He is survived by: his wife Rose; his daughters, TinaMaria Zachry (Scott), Renée Vitale and Maureen Casaburi (Mark); his grandchildren, Jessica DeBrino (Phil), Eric Vitale, Courtney Gill (Greg), Joseph Vitale, William Casaburi, Nathan Casaburi, Jessica Labruzzo (Vincent), Noelle Zachry, Brandon Zachry (Elaine) and Brenna Sian (Jeysson); his great grandchildren, Sophee, Kaylee, Charli, Theabella, Colton and Adrian; his brother Lawrence Herlihy (Carol); and his in-laws, Al, Pat Olsen, Robert, Linda Olsen and Debbie Mulero. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Sayville Lieu of flowers, donations to Sharing A Meal and the Sayville Food Pantry are appreciated.
