We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Daniel I. LaPoint of Pavilion, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John LaPoint and Mabel Guthrie LaPoint; his brother-in-law Thomas Parmenter; and his grandson Corey Orman. He is survived by: his wife Patricia McGee LaPoint; his children, Peggy Orman (Steve) of Saranac Lake, William LaPoint (Deborah) of Harrison, TN, Joan Oldale (late Matt) of Boiceville, NY, Barbara Stelzer (Leo) of Hallein, Robert LaPoint (Cara Kingsley) of Pavilion and Jessica LaPoint (Kevin Parsley) of Columbia Falls, MT; and his sister Mary Cordes of Pavilion. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (11095 St Marys St, Pavilion, NY 14525).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dan's name are suggested to be sent to the Pavilion Fire Department, PO Box 156, Pavilion, NY 14525 or to Katie's Star Memorial Fund, care of Pat LaPoint.
