She is survived by: her husband John Patrick Shields; her son John Patrick Shields, Jr.; her grandson John Patrick Shields, III; and her siblings, John Sanders, Marguerite "Butter" Sanders, Jay Maxwell and Dino Maxwell. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
