He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Hoy; his stepfather Bruce Wolfeil; and his grandfathers, Archie Nelson and Frank Wolfeil. He is survived by: his son Larry Hoy; his stepson David Kish; his mother Judi Wolfeil; his sisters, Kelley DeGasperis (Jamie) and Tracey Quimbo (Arian); his grandmother Janice Wolfeil; and his nieces and nephews, Lauren DeGasperis (Jordan), Keira Quimbo, Jimmy DeGasperis (Joanna), Dylan DeGasperis, Kai Quimbo and Kaden Quimbo. He is also survived by three great-nephews and one great-niece.
