With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean B Murphy (Pearl River, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Jean departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jean. Though Jean may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She is survived by : her husband John; her daughters, Stephanie Conti (Al) and Laurie Rakocy (Greg); her brother James Donovan of Montvale; and her grandchildren, Alex, Dean, Nina, Nicholas and Olivia.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home (34 N Summit St, Pearl River, NY 10965). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Aedan's Church (23 Reld Dr, Pearl River, NY 10965).
