With sadness, we share the passing of Lula J. Bornstein (Pearl River, New York). Lula, born on December 9, 1937, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Martin Bornstein. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia (Ben Lobalbo), Kathleen (John Dineen), Judy (Kevin Keenan) and Ross Tedford; and her grandchildren, Kelsea Dineen, Rachel (Louis Lobalbo Rosa), Joseph (Katie Tedford), Bridget (Raul Lemus Dineen) and Samantha (Joe Ster). She is also survived by her 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home (34 N Summit St, Pearl River, NY 10965). A Mass was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barbarigo Church (21 Cinder Rd, Garnerville, NY 10923). A burial was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Frederick Loescher Veteran Cemetery (220 Brick Church Rd, Spring Valley, NY 10977).
In lieu of flowers donations in Lula's memory to Saint Jude would be greatly appreciated.
