He is survived by: his children, Michael Comerford (Amy) and Fiona Parahus (Gary); his grandchildren, Michael, Lorraine, Gary (Brooke), Maeve (Kevin), Caroline (Zachary), Connor (Claire), Chloe (Michael) and Emma; his great grandchildren, Peyton of Thomas, JP, Mickey, Maggie, Rory, Zoey and Molly; and his wife Margaret Comerford.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. (100 Franklin Ave, Pearl River, NY 10965). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Aedan R. C. Church (23 Reld Dr, Pearl River, NY 10965). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the St. Anthony's Cemetery (36 W Nyack Rd, Nanuet, NY 10954).
