He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Meaney and Evelyn Meaney; and his siblings, Michael, John, Anthony and Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Madden; and his siblings, Teresa Staunton (John), Terrence and David Meaney (Ann). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. (100 Franklin Ave, Pearl River, NY 10965). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at 2 Fremont Ave, Park Ridge, NJ 07656.
