He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schmitt and Elizabeth Schmitt. He is survived by: his close friend Bonnie Pellerin; and his daughter Karen.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home - Plattsburgh (29 Broad St, Plattsburgh, NY 12901). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (800 Portion Rd, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the Pinelawn Cemetery.
