He is survived by: his sons, Maurice Blue and Jason Blue; his grandchildren, Ava Christine Blue, Kennedy Reese Blue, Jackson Patrick Blue, Sydney Shea Blue and Mackenzie Beth Harris; his wife Riitta Blue; his brother Sylvester; his nieces and nephews, Michelle R. Gilchrest, Gary J. Gilchrest and Christin "Boomanchew" Gilchrest; and his friends, Billy Thomas and Joe Cattuti. He is also survived by friends, and music brothers and sisters.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home (414 Washington St, Peekskill, NY 10566). A celebration of life was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the A. M. E. Zion Church (1220 Park St, Peekskill, NY 10566).
