James W. Swinehart Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James W. Swinehart (Pelham, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sandy; and his sister Joan. He is survived by: his sons, Robert and Brian (Tricia); and his grandchildren, Charlotte, Colin, Trent and Gavin. He is also survived by father, grandfather, relative and wonderful friend.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Pelham Funeral Home (64 Lincoln Ave, Village of Pelham, NY 10803).
He has served on the boards of the Missouri Association for Social Welfare, Ann Arbor Civic Theatre, local chapters of of AAPOR and the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and the New Rochelle Public Library Foundation.
