John will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy O'Connor and Jane O'Connor. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Hynes; his children, Kristen Marie O'Connor, Timothy O'Connor and Robert O'Connor; his stepsons, John Hynes (Jessica) and James Hynes (Katherine); and his sister Mary Jane Butler. He is also survived by his extended family, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pelham Funeral Home (64 Lincoln Ave, Village of Pelham, NY 10803). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (575 Fowler Ave, Pelham, NY 10803).
