He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lovell and Grace Lily Lovell; his in-laws, Thomas and Jane Askin; and his brothers-in-law, David Bickley and Daniel Askin.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen Askin; his daughters, Kelly (Ben Falter) and Katie (Kyle Smith); his sister Valerie Bickley; his siblings-in-law, Tom, Jan Askin, Carolyn, Earl Franz, Rick, Heidi Askin and Zsuzsanna Dorko; and his aunt Anne Howe. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
