He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Sautter Shippey; and his parents, Saima Helen Tulppo Shippey and Darrell L. Shippey. He is survived by: his brother Edwin Shippey; his daughters, Elizabeth Ballbach (John) and Sara Tao (Peter); and his grandchildren, Vee, Simon, Thomas and Emily.
