He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Wassenaar and Elizabeth Wassenaar; and his former wife Jacqueline. He is survived by: his wife JoAnne B. Frelier; his children, James (Mary) and Wendy (Jonathan); his grandsons, Jacob and Joshua; his stepsons, Calvin A Frelier (Laurie) and Andrew P. Frelier (late Shawn); and his stepgrandchildren, Audrey, Mae, Nathaniel, Luke, Johannah, Kathleen, Dana and Marlane.
