He was predeceased by: his children, Julie Clas-Baker and Dan Clas; and his parents, John Clas and Caroline Clas. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Kurrus; and his sons, Richard (Marie), James (Pam), David (Julie), Andrew and Terry Jeanne (Vic). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's name to Willow Domestic Violence Center.
