She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Smart Sr. and Pearl I. Davis; her husband Wilbur Hines; and her sisters, Eleanor (Clarence), Ella and Patricia.
She is survived by : her children, Betheny, Darryl and Cheryl. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren.
