It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brigitte I. Nielsen of Penn Yan, New York, born in Berlin, New York, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, August Jachnow and Helene Jachnow (Pfeiffer); and her husband Irving Nielsen. She is survived by : her children, Michael Nielsen (Helen) of Pembroke Pines, FL, Steven Nielsen (Tricia) of Freeland, WA, Joanne LeClair (David) of Rushville and Katherine Erskin (Kevin) of Himrod; and her grandchildren, Lauren, Joshua Neilsen, Thomas, Joseph Nielsen, David M. LeClair and Jenna Erskin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
