He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis F. and Mary A. Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Judy Hicks (Pedder); his children, Edward G. Hicks (Judy Sisson) of Penn Yan, NY, Louis F. Hicks (Shelly) of Penn Yan, NY, Timothy L. Hicks (Pamela) of Penn Yan, NY and Mary Taylor (Craig, Sr.) of Penn Yan, NY; his grandchildren, Zack Hicks (Mollie), Keagan Hicks (Stephanie), Sawyer Hicks, Christopher Hicks, Akemi Hicks, Ethan Hicks, Tyler Hicks, Alexandria (Achary), Olivia Hicks, Brandon Taylor, Lydia Taylor and Craig Taylor, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Zaya Hicks, Kaiden Hicks, Karter Hicks, Marshall Hicks, Avianna Hicks, Elliot Delamater, Waylon Delamater, Hudson Taylor and Bennett Taylor; and his brother-in-law Jim Pedder (Lucy) of Penn Yan. He is also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Townsend-Wood & Zinger Funeral Home (201 E Elm St, Penn Yan, NY 14527).
