It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick L. Jensen Jr. of Penn Yan, New York, who passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Jensen, and Dorothy Jensen, Sr. (Kellen); his brother Dale; and his grandparents, Frederick and Christina Jensen.
He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Jensen (Greenfield); his daughter Heidi L. Jensen-Mullen; his son-in-law Jason Mullen; his grandson Glenn Lawrence Mullen of Lubbock Texas; his siblings, Cheryl Jensen of Lisbon, NY, Dawn Jensen of Lisbon, NY and Alan; his sister-in-law Gale Jensen of Penn Yan, NY; and his aunt Berdine Van Sickle. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins, along with many close friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Townsend-Wood & Zinger Funeral Home (201 E Elm St, Penn Yan, NY 14527). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
As Fred was a kind caretaker to many beloved pets over the years memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Yates County, 1216 State Route 14A, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
