He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley G. Hansen and Elizabeth T. C. Petersen Hansen (Petersen); his brothers, Neal and Dale Hansen; his wife Carol Swarthout Hansen; his son Kevin M. Hansen; and his grandson Jacob M. Kinsella.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Hansen; his grandchildren, Jamie Curtiss (Kurry), Joline Curtiss (Brian), Paige Kinsella (Jamie) and Phoenix Kinsella (Jon); his siblings, Terry Hansen and Linda Hansen Linkhorn; and his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Wager Hansen and Maryanne Swarthout Townsend. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
