James P. Tette Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James P. Tette of Penn Yan, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Patrick Tette and Anna Mae Tette (Merkel); his wife Sharan Tette; his children, Mark Tette, Monica Marsh (Ken) and Matthew Tette (Carrie); his grandchildren, Griffin Marsh, Casey Marsh, Riley Marsh, Adriaynna Orr (Tyler), Alex Hudson, Alyssa Tette, Athena Tette, JD Tette, Finn Tette and Claire Tette; and his great grandchild Kanan Durfee.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Townsend-Wood & Zinger Funeral Home (201 E Elm St, Penn Yan, NY 14527). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (312 Liberty St, Penn Yan, NY 14527).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Michael School, 214 Keuka St., Penn Yan, N.Y. 14527.
